Rest In Peace Sweet PoPo

Kitty heaven took you too soon. Thank you for being one of Bean's first friends and for taking such good care of Robin for so long. You will be missed. We love you.

Back home...

...again. When I say "I love my husband" the words sometimes don't seem like enough. We just got back from a spontaneous trip to San Francisco (Thurs, 1:00pm - "Babe, can you pack a bag for me too... we are leaving for the airport at 7:30pm and I won't get home until 7pm."). He knew I needed this... he know it would make me feel better... he just did it without a thought except to make me happy and spend time with me. It was a wonderful trip packed with good photos, good food, old friends, being able to make our room 74 degrees all day and night, a lot of laughs, rain, sun, wind, hangovers, donuts, pizza (lots of pizza) and fun new memories.

Thank you! You are my hero.

"We kill the cows humanly...

...with Ninjas."

Spoken by a very interesting and drunk bar patron at the Whaler last night when explaining that when you slaughter a cow the regular way (shoving it through a line of slaughter so to speak and then shooting it) you cause anxiety and thus ruin the meat and when you kill them the humane way, you sneak up behind them and slit their throats. Viola... no anxiety.

Regardless, we bought him another Guinness.
